Every woman should own at least one classic Chanel boucle jacket. The ultimate luxe wardrobe staple, it can be worn in so many ways and always looks chic.

Utterly divine piece from Chanel's Resort 2008 catwalk. Made from wonderfully fine textured black boucle wool and silk with hand crafted 'rope' trims and embossed black silk and Spandex lining. It has a classic 1950s inspired cut with curved shoulders and continuous sleeves with slightly cropped cuffs. It has an open fronted cut with a modern twist in the form of elongated 'collar' panels which hang below the hem - these can also be worn tied at the front. It has decorative black 'Coco Line' metal buttons (the collection was shown in a Santa Monica plane hangar, decorated like an exclusive airport lounge with "Chanel Line" departure listings) on the front and a heavy silver chain weight inside the hem. Length of 'collar' from shoulder to tip is 32". Will fit a UK8 also.
