Totally awe inspiring, fashion fantasy jacket from Balenciaga's Fall 2007 collection when Nicolas Ghesquière "brought back to the realm of the casual and young, but still just as layered, complex, and resonant as any (of his) projections into sci-fi"

Made from thick and stiff navy pinstripe wool with grey felt and black velvet trims, it has the most amazing tailoring with a school blazer meets military feel. Sharply shouldered and nipped waisted it has three front pockets and one faux pocket, wide lapels and double vented belted back. Fastens with chunky enameled brass buttons (ideally you should fasten just the top one as shown on the runway) but also has a gold zip with large fob. Beautifully lined with heraldry printed satin.
