Few fashion houses can claim to have truly dominated one area of the market in the way that Italian family run label Missoni, with its iconic knitwear and signature weaves, has. Since Tai and Rosita Missoni launched their label in 1953 it has been at the forefront of Italian fashion. Missoni’s trademark zigzag weaves, light as air knit dresses, coats and jumpers can be credited with reinventing knitwear for a new age. Truly a family concern Tai and Rosita’s daughter Angela is now head designer, maintaining the label’s authenticity and signature style whilst adding her own brand of sensuality.
