Marc Jacobs

Native New Yorker Marc Jacobs has a sixth sense when predicting exactly what women want to wear. Since launching his line in 1986, Jacobs has constantly been at the forefront of design. His early Grunge collection for Perry Ellis was initially derided, yet it has gone on to be considered a seminal collection of the early nineties and has influenced many other designers.

Jacobs is known for his ultra feminine take on everything from the 1960s Mod look to Prom dresses and for his wide ranging inspiration sources which often turn 180° from one season to the next. Whether he designs a bum bag or a Crayola bright Peter Pan collared coat, where Jacobs goes his army of fans always follow.
