Diane von Furstenberg

World renowned for her iconic wrap dress, Diane von Furstenberg is the personification of the glamorous jet setting woman. The Belgian born designer launched her fashion label in 1972 and this was followed two years later by what would become a cult creation and arguably one of the first ‘it’ dresses; the Diane von Furstenberg wrap dress. Sales were astronomical and when she retired from fashion in the eighties, the DVF wrap dress became a star of the vintage scene. Since its relaunch, the wrap dress has been introduced to a new generation of women who appreciate its simplicity and elegance.
